Bhawan Bhatta is a prominent Nepali businessman and former President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). He is the Founder and Chairman of TBI Holdings, a diversified business conglomerate with operations in Japan and other countries, engaged in sectors such as hospitality, food, aviation, tourism, ICT, and education. Over the years, he has established himself as a visionary entrepreneur, contributing significantly to promoting Nepali entrepreneurship on a global scale.
During his tenure as NRNA President (2017–2019), Bhatta worked to strengthen global unity among Non-Resident Nepalis, emphasizing collaboration, investment, and community development initiatives. His leadership was marked by efforts to connect the global Nepali diaspora with opportunities for national progress.
In Nepal, Bhatta is recognized as an active investor, with his company BB Holding signing a memorandum of understanding for the development of the Tamakoshi-3 Hydropower Project, one of the country’s major infrastructure initiatives.
Born in Tandrang, Gorkha, he moved to Japan for his higher education and went on to build a successful business empire, becoming an influential figure in both the Nepali and international business communities.
